The Art Students League of New York

After I spent a second full day at the Met last week, I only had one more stop planned and then purposefully left the afternoon free for wandering the city. I ended up walking all along the length of Central Park, crossing the picturesque Bow Bridge, listening to birdsong, passing photoshoots and musicians performing. Before I knew it, I had reached the Art Student’s League. It was exciting to step inside such historic place and I even stocked up on new supplies in the tiny store down the hall. I’ve always been sensitive to the way certain places are center points for creative energy, this was surely one of them.
